2nd grade goes to Camp “Read-a-Lot”!

On Monday, March 2, the 2nd grade class celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday (Read Across America Day) by going to Camp! We got to read almost all day in tents, along with flashlights and s’mores snacks! Students got to read their own books, but also read “The Sneetches” by Dr. Seuss. In addition, we talked about Texas Independence Day, and read “Lone Star Waves Proudly”, and “The Legend of the Bluebonnet”.
