School Wide A R Party
We Made Our Goal !

As many of you already know our school uses a reading program called Accelerated Reader. The program is designed to encourage students to be independent readers, to increase their reading abilities, and create growth throughout the year. Each student has personal goals set by their teachers, according to the diagnostic tests, that show the appropriate level for them to be successful.
As a school we set a school wide A R goal for the year. This year’s overall goal was 4,000 points. As of Friday April 30, 2021 the students surpassed this goal by 55.7 points, which brought our total to 4,055.7 A R points. Everyone helped contribute, and it definitely paid off! We are so proud of our students and they deserve recognition!
With only one week left in A R this year we are still going strong. May 14th will be the last day to test. Our last A R party will be celebrated May 19th and it will be a school wide bash. Thank you for the support you have given your children throughout the year. Please continue to encourage them to read. "If you can read, you can learn anything!"
