Grandview-Hopkins ISD Classes Cancelled

I apologize for the late notice on this, but Grandview-Hopkins classes are going to be canceled for the rest of the week because of COVID-19 staffing issues. Once again, there will be no school Tuesday through Friday of this week.
We have had an additional staff member test positive for Covid since last Thursday, and two more situations came up late this afternoon dealing with illness and quarantine that will leave us very short staffed for the rest of the week. We want to take care of your children in the best way possible, and being so short staffed in the classroom and in our auxiliary positions will make it very difficult for us to do that.
Once again I apologize for this late notice, but with the developments of the last few days and this afternoon, we will need this time to get the staff well. Thank you for your understanding and I apologize for the inconvenience this may create for you and your children. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers for the staff, and we pray that you and your family are staying well.
