Field Trip to White Deer Library

Grandview-Hopkins ISD kindergarten, first and second grades visited the White Deer Library.  They started off their visit with some tricky riddles then "The Uglified Ducky Maynard Moose Tale" written by Willy Claflin and "Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon" written by Patty Lovell were read.  Students then played a hula hoop game, cheerios game and had a scavenger hunt.  The hunt included finding a zebra, lion and whale hidden around the library.  Students discovered some of their favorite books and some new ones they would like to read.  Stop by and have a scavenger hunt, animals are still hiding around the library!

Library hours are:  Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Tuesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Note:  Many of you may not know that Mrs. Warminski is not only our school nurse she is also the librarian for the White Deer Library.  Thank you to Mrs. Warminski for all she does for our students!
