Hoover Volunteer Fireman Visit Grandview-Hopkins

Fireman Lieutenant Johnny Goodson and several of his crew visited the school this past Thursday. Lieutenant Goodson visited with the children about fire safety and having an escape plan at home as well as at school. "Fire Won't Wait. Plan Your Escape" is this year's theme. All of the fireman showed their trucks and gear to the students and answered their questions. Several photos are attached.
Many of you may not know but they are the designated fire department for our school and they are all volunteers taking time from their work and families to help make sure our school is safe. We want to say a big "THANK YOU!" to the Hoover Volunteer Fire Department.
