Mrs. Mayfield's Home Page

Hello.  My name is Michelle Mayfield and I have had the pleasure of working this year at Grandview-Hopkins Elementary as a part-time counselor.  I come to the school each Thursday and spend most of my time presenting guidance lessons to students in Kindergarten through 6th grade.  

I retired from education in 2018 with 32 years experience as both a teacher (high school business) and counselor (high school and middle school).  I am married and my husband is also an educator/coach.  In addition, I have three children as well as a really sweet daughter-in-law.

I have truly enjoyed working with the students at Grandview-Hopkins.  It has been especially enjoyable because I have never worked with elementary students and I have learned how wonderful they really are.  Thank you for allowing me to work with your children.
