Second graders are busy with their Reader’s Theatre. We were discussing how we make connections to the books that we read. One of the books that we read was Grandfather’s Journey. We saw ways in which we could connect with the main character in the book. After reading the book, the students teamed up with a partner and presented a poem entitled “A Divided Heart” . Enjoy!
